About School:

The school opened in September 2019 and provide a state-of-the art teaching and learning environment for up to 1,728 students. The international learning experience at school will offer students aged 6–18 years old the best of eastern and western education resources and philosophies. The bilingual curriculum will be based on the National curriculum blended with globally respected international education resources and teaching methods. Students will gain a solid foundation of Chinese culture whilst being equipped with the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in an increasingly globalized world.

About Job:

• • To lead, develop and enhance the quality of teaching and learning across Secondary;
  • To actively promote outstanding teaching and learning through demonstration, co-teaching peer observation and mentoring of the Secondary team;
  • To maintain an awareness of and further develop the provision of individual special needs provision across the Secondary School;
  • To report regularly, to the Principal, on the quality of teaching and learning across Secondary
  • Keep abreast of all IBDP and IGCSE developments and updates;
  • Promote Global Classroom online to provide students with access to a global network.
  • Monitor a School Discipline and Behaviour Management Policy that reflects the aim of the Pastoral Care Program. Review this on an annual basis.
  • Be responsible for the Secondary School section of the annual School Presentation.
  • Oversee the Student Attendance records in consultation with Year Coordinators.
  • To monitor teacher performance and assist with staff evaluation in the Secondary School in consultation with the Head of School

About You:

• • Qualified to bachelor degree level or above
  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience of Fluency in English
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an international school setting, with significant experience in related curriculum
  • Evidence of innovating and adapting curricula to engage students and enable students to perform highly
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
  • Work in partnership with parents and colleagues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong use of technology for administration and teaching
