About Job:

  • • Differentiating classroom instruction to meet student’s individual learning needs and styles;
    • Teaching explicitly on-going and inter/trans-disciplinary skills;
    • Employing a constructivist, inquiry-based pedagogical approach to teaching and learning that promotes inquiry and the development of critical-thinking skills;
    • Providing learning experiences that build on what students know and can do;
    • Employing a range of teaching and learning strategies to promote independent thinking, inquiry and acquisition of subject specific knowledge and skills;
    • Promoting and fostering student reflection on learning experiences
    • Meeting and greeting each student on arrival each morning and or lesson (with Co Teacher present) ensuring safety, assessing pupils at the door, recording their wellbeing;
    • Working as a teamplanning lessons, directing the way forward as a Homeroom Teacher

About You:

  • • At least Bachelor’s degree in related area
    • Valid Teaching Certificate in related area
    • At least 3 years of math teaching experience and a track record of student learning
    • Have a knowledge of inquiry-based activities and projects as well as skill-based problem sets, and problem-based pedagogy and curriculum.
    • Strong content knowledge, with a bachelor's or equivalent study in mathematics; graduate degree in related field preferred
    • Profound commitment to ensuring and nurturing children's wellbeing
