About Job:

  • • Continue to develop and evaluate the impact of the Senior School learning support provision.
    • Coordinate, lead, and monitor the Senior School’s methods of evaluating and developing pedagogy. in relation to students with specific learning needs.
    • Assist SSLT, as required, with the organisation of staff professional learning days
    • Oversee the Senior School referral system for students with specific learning needs
    • Coordinate examinations access arrangements, liaising with Exams Officer and other support functions within the School.
    • Oversee the professional learning for all members of the Senior School learning support department.
    • Work in collaboration with the Head of Senior School EAL and the Social and Emotional Counselling Team to ensure full provision for students with learning needs.
    • Contribute to upholding the School’s corporate identity in all publications, internal literature, letters, and external performances.

About You:

  • • a degree in a related subject
    • a PGCE or equivalent in a related subject
    • at least 2 years’ teaching experience in ENC, IGCSE and/or IBDP experience
    • strong interpersonal skills to enthuse, inspire and motivate others
    • a commitment to quality, meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and high standards
