About School:

School is a not-for-profit, innovative and unique school in China. It draws from International, Chinese and American learning traditions and weaves them into a bilingual education model. The school is fully accredited by WASC, IB and IPC. The IPC curriculum is delivered in a bilingual structure in the Primary School (Foundation- Grade 5) and MYP and DP are courses taught in English in the Secondary School. The school’s  top-notch facilities include three indoor gymnasiums, a large 8-lane swimming pool, fully equipped science labs, 3 state of the art libraries which house very robust book and magazine collections, a communal vegetable garden with organic composting, outdoor and indoor tracks, a large performing arts center for theatre and music and an expansive Design facility with a ceramic kiln, 2 wood workshops, 3D and laser printers. About Job:

  • • Foster a cohesive school culture that celebrates and integrates both Chinese and English languages and perspectives.
    • Build and sustain positive relationships among students, staff, and parents in both language Communities
    • Support the Head of Primary in the strategic and operational leadership of the bilingual Primary School.
    • Promote the school’s bilingual immersion model through classroom practice, curriculum alignment, and professional learning
    • Encourage approaches that value translanguaging, biliteracy development, and intercultural communication.
    • Collaborate with language specialists to monitor student progress in both languages and address emerging needs.
    • Partner with counselling and support teams to ensure coordinated care for students and families
    • Promote restorative and values-based approaches to conflict resolution.
    • Collaborate with Curriculum Coordinators and Department Heads to align bilingual curriculum design with an inquiry-based and concept-driven framework
    • Support cross-linguistic professional learning communities that promote shared understanding and curriculum coherence.

About You:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Significant experience in primary education, including leadership, pastoral care, or coordination roles.
    • Demonstrated understanding of bilingual or dual-language educational models.
    • Experience in bilingual, international, or intercultural school settings preferred.
    • Skilled at building bridges between language teams and supporting shared pedagogical purpose.
    • Strong record of collaboration across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts
